‘Plant & Play’ at TriCore Panels
Free, hands-on educational experience planned for Women In Construction Week
SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA (February 21, 2024) - TriCore Panels, a leading provider of architectural paneling systems in the San Francisco Bay Area, is thrilled to invite the community to a special event in honor of Women in Construction Week (March 4-8). “Plant & Play,” being held in collaboration with Celebration Nation, will take place on March 9th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the TriCore office, 2175 De La Cruz Blvd in Santa Clara.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn the basics of programming and will use state-of-the-art CNC technology to fabricate planter boxes they can take home. The celebration is the latest of TriCore Panel’s ongoing community engagement initiatives — an integral part of the company’s commitment to educating the next generation, particularly young women, about opportunities in the male-dominated field.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that women make up just 10% of the construction workforce in the U.S. and Homara is part of the mere 1% of CEOs in the industry who are women.
